My research explores how interpersonal experiences and behaviors shape the development and maintenance of mental disorders.  I am particularly fascinated by translational, transdiagnostic, and transtheoretical perspectives, as well as the heterogeneity within individual disorders - especially depression.

While I value classical approaches in experimental psychopathology research, I am increasingly drawn to network models and computational modeling. 

As a proponent of the Open Science movement, I prioritize transparency and reproducibility in research. Consequently, I have begun preregistering my studies and making my data and analysis code publicly accessible.

In my academic and therapeutic teaching, I adopt a participatory approach, emphasizing practical relevance and the transmission of procedural knowledge. My ongoing work as a psychotherapist enriches this aspect of my work.
